Meztli Xictli Co

The country name of Mexico, that many of us are familiar with, comes from a compound Nahuatl word made of three words (MEztli ‘Moon’, XIctli ‘Bellybutton’, CO ‘place of’ ) that can be translated to: Ombligo de la Luna; the place of the bellybutton of the Moon.

Join us for a 6-day transformational pilgrimage in central Mexico, guided by four elders, as we weave the sacred path of Quetzalcoatl through six sacred sites and Mexico's profound cosmology and biocultural heritage. Connect with ancestral healing, natural law and future regenerative creation through deep natural wisdom in this immersive journey.

March 25 - March 31, 2025

"Our connection to nature is the foundation of our spiritual well-being."

— Mindahi Crescendio Bastida

The wisdom of our ancestors is a guiding light in troubled times.

We aren’t trying to save Earth, Earth is trying to save us. We aren’t here to fight climate change, we’re here to listen to what Earth is saying to us.

We must recognize that the well-being of the planet and our own personal healing is intricately linked. Our ancestors, with their timeless wisdom, resilience and languages of place, serve as guiding lights in the face of present challenges, offering us invaluable lessons in stewardship and harmony with nature, where the sacredness of all existence is honored and cherished. For us to learn from them is one of the keys to lead us into a path of healing and regeneration for generations to come.

It is a communal effort to come back together in multi-generational community and feel once again what it means to be a human family in community with Earth and the more-than-human.
